These terms apply to reader stories, photographs, Trophy Room entries, ratings, Exchange listings, and other material you send to Field Honest.
Your promises
You confirm that you are at least 18; the material is substantially accurate to the best of your knowledge; you own it or have permission to provide it; and it does not violate copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity, confidentiality, contract, or other rights. Any described harvest, sale, possession, transfer, or activity must be lawful. You have permission from identifiable people and, for a minor, from a parent or legal guardian. Do not reveal sensitive coordinates, private access, account credentials, medical data, license numbers, or other information that should not be public.
License
You keep copyright in your material. You grant Nomenas Digital LLC a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, sublicensable license to host, reproduce, edit, fact-check, translate, crop, resize, caption, combine, publish, archive, promote, and distribute the submission in Field Honest articles, pages, feeds, newsletters, social posts, podcasts, audio, video, and current or future publication formats. The license includes reasonable commercial use of Field Honest and its promotion, but does not transfer ownership to us or allow us to sell your standalone photograph as stock media.
Editing, credit, and publication
We may shorten, restructure, correct, decline, unpublish, or remove material. We aim to preserve the substance of a story but do not promise publication, a particular headline, placement, timing, duration, credit, traffic, or payment unless a separate written agreement says so. We may use your chosen name, pen name, or anonymous credit. Private contact details are not a public credit unless you specifically list them for public contact.
Ratings
A rating must reflect a genuine first-hand customer or trip experience. Do not rate your own business, a competitor you have not used, or submit on another person’s behalf. No payment, discount, threat, or incentive may be tied to a positive or negative score. We may use pseudonymous device and network signals to prevent duplicates and abuse. We may remove or exclude a rating for fraud, conflict, manipulation, lack of experience, technical duplication, or violation of these rules—not merely because it is unfavorable.
Exchange listings
You are responsible for the item, description, ownership, condition, legality, buyer/seller checks, payment, shipping, and any required licensed transfer. Field Honest may send your public contact route to interested users as explained at submission but does not become a party to the sale. Listings expire, may be rejected, and may be preserved temporarily for fraud, moderation, or legal records.
Withdrawal and records
You may withdraw unpublished material using its private management link or by contacting us. You may request removal of published user content, and we will consider the request in light of editorial integrity, reliance, public interest, rights already granted, and applicable law. Removal from public view does not erase backups, consent, license, moderation, fraud, or dispute records immediately, and does not recall copies already lawfully distributed.
