  • Exchange: listing text, price, general city/state, photos, seller name and email, confirmation and management records, and optional promotion payment status.
  • Outfitter directory: public business facts and source URLs, business contact details, claim and management records, owner-supplied content, inquiries, ratings, feature status, and billing identifiers. Public business emails collected for verification and outreach are not displayed as directory content.
  • The Dispatch: email address, signup source, consent version and timestamps, confirmation state, delivery attempts, unsubscribe state, and one-way hashed private tokens. We do not place tracking pixels in Dispatch emails.
  • Payments and projects: billing contact, product, amount, currency, transaction status, Stripe customer/subscription/session identifiers, limited card descriptors supplied by Stripe, project communications, and records of accepted terms. We do not receive or store full card numbers or security codes.
  • Messages: email address, message, attachments, and other information you choose to send.

How we use information

We use information to deliver and secure the site; operate directories, forms, ratings, private management links, listings, The Dispatch, payments, and projects; confirm requested email subscriptions; send selected Field Honest updates; honor unsubscribes and maintain a suppression record; review and publish submissions; route inquiries; verify identity, authority, rights, and facts; prevent fraud and abuse; measure audience use; provide support; keep accounting, consent, editorial, and legal records; enforce our terms; and comply with law.

Sources of information

We receive information from you, your browser, Stripe and other service providers, public business websites, government or professional licensing directories, public directories, and people who submit or report content. Outfitter pages may be created from publicly available business facts before the business claims them.

When we disclose information

Information may be processed by providers that supply hosting, security, email, backups, analytics, payment processing, media delivery, and technical support; by a business receiving a visitor inquiry; by the public when content or chosen contact details are published; by advisers and authorities where reasonably necessary for legal, safety, fraud, or rights matters; and by a successor in a merger, financing, reorganization, or sale subject to this Policy.

We do not sell personal information for money. We do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising and do not use Field Honest ratings or submissions to train or sell identity profiles. We may use aggregate or de-identified information that cannot reasonably identify you.

Analytics, cookies, and privacy signals

Field Honest uses Google Analytics 4 for audience measurement. Analytics is active by default unless your browser sends Global Privacy Control or you choose “Turn analytics off.” Advertising storage, advertising user data, and advertising personalization remain denied. Your choice is stored in local storage under fieldhonest_analytics_consent_v1. A rating key cookie may remember a pseudonymous browser key for up to one year to prevent duplicate ratings. Essential session, security, and management-link functions do not depend on advertising cookies.

You can change the Analytics choice at any time using “Privacy settings” in the footer or the Privacy Choices page. We honor an enabled Global Privacy Control signal by disabling optional analytics for that browser unless you later make a direct site choice. We do not respond to older Do Not Track signals because they have no consistent industry meaning; GPC and our direct control are used instead.

Retention

We keep information only as long as reasonably needed for the purpose collected, including service delivery, moderation, fraud prevention, accounting, rights records, dispute handling, backups, and legal obligations. Public content remains while published. Unconfirmed Dispatch requests expire and are removed; active subscriber records remain until unsubscribe or a valid deletion request, while a minimal suppression and consent record may be retained to honor the opt-out and show what occurred. Expired or removed listings and rejected submissions may remain for a limited period in moderation records and backups. Payment and tax records may be kept for legally required accounting periods. Consent, license, transaction, and dispute records may be retained after content or an account is removed because they establish what occurred and what rights were granted.

Your choices and U.S. privacy rights

You may ask to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of personal information associated with you, opt out of optional analytics, withdraw unpublished content, or appeal a privacy-request decision. Rights and exceptions vary by state. We do not discriminate against you for exercising an applicable right. Send “Privacy Request” to office@nomenasdigital.com. We will verify requests reasonably; we may ask you to use the same email or private link connected to the record. Authorized agents must provide evidence of authority.

Deleting personal information does not automatically require retraction of lawfully published editorial work, invalidate a prior license, erase transaction/accounting records, or remove information we must retain for security, disputes, or law. We will explain any applicable exception.

Security

We use access controls, hashed private tokens, encrypted transport, image normalization, rate limits, backups, and restricted administrative access appropriate to the service. No online system is guaranteed perfectly secure. If you believe a private link or account is compromised, contact us promptly.

Children

Field Honest is a general-audience service and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from a child under 13. Submissions, listings, ratings, claims, and purchases require an adult. An adult submitting a photograph or story involving a minor must have authority and any required permission.

United States operation and changes

Field Honest is directed to a United States audience and information is processed in the United States and locations used by our providers. We may update this Policy as services change. Material changes will receive appropriate notice and will not retroactively expand a content license or paid commitment without required consent.
