These terms apply when you claim or manage an outfitter or fishing-guide profile, buy profile tools, or order a Field Honest Partner Story or website project. They supplement the Terms of Use and Billing & Refund Policy.
Authority and profile ownership
You represent that you are at least 18 and are the owner, employee, or authorized representative of the business. Claiming a page verifies control of the business contact route; it does not mean Field Honest has audited every statement or credential. You must keep facts, contact details, offers, license claims, prices, and availability accurate and lawful.
Unclaimed information pages
We may create factual information pages from public business websites, licensing directories, and other public sources. These pages are editorial directory records, not statements that a business bought or endorsed Field Honest. A business may request a factual correction or removal without buying a plan. Claiming adds management tools and does not transfer ownership of Field Honest’s page design, directory data structure, or editorial copy.
Your business content
You keep ownership of logos, photographs, descriptions, and other material you provide. You grant Nomenas Digital LLC a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, reproduce, resize, crop, format, display, distribute, and promote that material as needed to operate and market your profile and purchased services. You represent that you have all rights and permissions needed, including from photographers and identifiable people. The license ends when the material is removed from active services, except for reasonable backups, legal records, previously distributed promotion, and separately commissioned work governed by its agreed scope.
Plans and profile tools
Managed Profile, Complete Profile, and annual add-ons provide the features described at checkout for one year and renew automatically each year until canceled. Features may evolve, but we will not materially remove paid value during a prepaid term without a reasonable substitute, credit, or refund. Hiding a public profile does not cancel billing. Use “Manage billing in Stripe” in the private desk to stop renewal.
If you submit a new business that is not already in the directory, its setup record remains private until the business email is verified and Stripe confirms an eligible annual profile plan. We may check the submitted website, contact route, and duplicate records to prevent impersonation. If the qualifying plan ends, that owner-submitted profile may return to private status; billing records and information reasonably needed for fraud prevention, disputes, and legal compliance may be retained.
No guaranteed leads or ranking
Payment buys the described publishing and management tools—not a guaranteed number of impressions, inquiries, bookings, search rankings, revenue, positive ratings, or editorial coverage. “Featured” means preferred placement within Field Honest as described; it does not mean endorsement or guaranteed traffic.
Ratings
Profile payment never buys positive ratings or removal of post-claim ratings. If offered, the one-time verified-owner clean start may exclude ratings submitted before the claim from the displayed score during the stated eligibility window. Those records are archived rather than destroyed. We may remove ratings for fraud, conflicts, manipulation, lack of genuine experience, or rule violations regardless of sentiment. Businesses may report suspected abuse but may not threaten or reward visitors to change a rating.
Partner Story
A Partner Story is paid, sponsored editorial work and will be clearly labeled. The base price covers the scope shown at checkout and our written intake: research/interview intake, drafting, normal editing, and one reasonable factual correction round unless we agree otherwise. Payment does not buy false claims, undisclosed endorsements, guaranteed distribution, permanent placement, or control over Field Honest’s disclosures and editorial standards. We may decline unsafe, deceptive, unlawful, or unverifiable claims and will refund unearned fees if we cancel the project.
One-page WordPress starter
The stated starting price covers a focused one-page WordPress starter based on an agreed written scope, supplied content, and one reasonable correction round. Domain registration, hosting, premium licenses, ecommerce, booking systems, extra pages, ongoing maintenance, accessibility certification, legal advice, custom integrations, and material revisions are excluded unless expressly included in writing. Work outside the agreed scope requires a separate quote. You are responsible for approving content, supplying rights-cleared materials, and maintaining the delivered site after handoff unless we agree to ongoing service.
Suspension and removal
We may restrict a profile or service for nonpayment, impersonation, misleading claims, manipulated ratings, unlawful offerings, security risk, rights complaints, or material breach. When practical, we will provide notice and a chance to cure. You can hide the public profile immediately from the private desk and can request correction or removal by email. Cancellation, refunds, and access through the paid term are governed by the Billing & Refund Policy.
